Enabling Cellular Tracking
At least one member of the crew or the skipper needs to have the app installed and be assigned permission to make declarations. This permission is already granted to the PIC, skipper, and co-skipper by default.
To allow a crew member to activate tracking, make check-ins, or submit finish declarations, you can enable this from the ‘My Crew’ page within the race entry by selecting ‘Allow app permissions’.
Cellular tracking will be activated on the device once the digital check-in is complete, ensuring tracking is only active during the event. Tracking ends when the device either leaves racing area, submits a finish declaration, or retires from the race. Tracking can also be manually turned off at point on the device.
